Battalion 3 Technologies brings ICx and FIREROSTER.COM, incident command and accountability solutions, to the fire service.
Company continues to develop fire service software solutions for fire service professionals, from fire service professionals.
Coeur d’Alene, ID: September 23, 2012- Battalion 3 Technologies, LLC is proud to announce their much anticipated release of both ICx: Incident Command x, and FIREROSTER.COM. These two unique programs are designed to work together, or independently, to improve firefighter safety by organizing emergency scenes and providing accurate firefighter accountability.
Battalion 3 Technologies is a fire service software firm located in the Pacific Northwest. Started by two fire department Battalion Chiefs and a technology professional, Batt3 strives to make programs that the fire service would actually use. “I know first hand, if software is difficult to use it has no place in a command post,” says Lee Holbrook, a founding partner and Battalion Chief.
ICx: Incident Command x, passes the test for ease of use. Receiving great reviews from test departments, ICx provides an intuitive digital command board that is packed with features designed to make incident command better organized, and ultimately safer for firefighters. Tools such as drag and drop tracking of assignments, multiple scene timers, benchmark checklists, interactive PAR list, and a MAYDAY feature are just some of the reasons incident commanders will find a benefit using ICx on their scenes.
FIREROSTER.COM is a free to use, web-based scheduling and rostering program. This solution will allow fire service leaders to schedule shifts, and print personnel rosters for their department, as well as, their mutual aid departments. Commanders can print rosters for all adjoining departments personnel staffing at the beginning of the shift and keep in their command vehicles.
The most exciting component of FIREROSTER.COM is how easily it links to ICx. With a click of a button on ICx, up to the minute personnel assignments for all linked departments is available on the ICx command board. Assigning a mutual aid engine on a structure fire will now provide as much accountability as assigning one of your own.
More information on these two products is available at batt3.com. Battalion 3 Technologies will be at the Fire Show Reno demonstrating this accountability solution.
