Upgrade based on user response
Following a successful launch of ICx: Incident Command x in 2012, Battalion 3 Technologies released version 2.0 last week. “We were driven by customer feedback and suggestions to create a better product,” states Chief Marketing Officer John Morrison. “The original program became very popular and many users were suggesting new features. We took some of the best ideas and developed this upgrade”.
The hallmark of ICx is the ease of use to the on scene incident commander. Utilizing a drag and drop interface to track resources through assignments, ICx allows the IC to assign, move units, and add resources in real time. Incident tracking is completed with the printable incident log.
“The first thing a user will notice with the upgrade is the amount of incident types there are included,” says Lee Holbrook CEO. “There is even the ability for the department to create their own templates for any type of emergency, or special event, that they respond to.” Other features include; incident snap shot, increased customization, an embedded DOT Emergency Response Guide, and the ability to add PDF documents. There are many more features included in the upgrade.
